Lea Michele: 'Harry Styles could be joining Scream Queens'
Actress/singer Lea Michele has sparked speculation that Harry Styles is joining her TV show Scream Queens.
The Glee star admits she has "heard a rumour" the show's creator Ryan Murphy is in talks with a "male pop star" to join the cast of the horror comedy, and she is convinced the mystery man is Harry.
The One Direction star is set to take a break from pop as the band
embarks on a hiatus and it has long been thought Harry would pursue
an acting career during this time off, and Lea hopes she will
finally get to work with her celebrity crush.
"I also heard a rumor that he (Harry) may (join the show)," she
tells InStyle magazine. "I don't know if this is true, but he
(Ryan) said at a press thing recently that he is talking to a male
pop star to come for next year... If it's Harry Styles, everybody
better calm down,... I love One Direction. Everybody knows
this."
Lea is also adamant Harry would be a good choice for the upcoming
movie version of hit stage show Wicked, adding, "I'm also thinking
that he should be in the Wicked movie. He's our modern day Mick
Jagger."
Harry has previously received the backing of Hollywood movie mogul
Harvey Weinstein, who is convinced the singer has a bright future
in the acting industry.
"Harry Styles will definitely be a movie star if he wants to..."
Harvey told Britain's The Sun newspaper, before joking, "First he's
got to date all three of my daughters. They all think he is
extremely handsome. Once that's sorted, he can be in any film he
wants."
Harvey later revealed Harry had turned down a role in movie Tulip
Fever, opposite Judi Dench, Christoph Waltz and Zach Galifianakis,
adding to Dailymail.com: "I'm sure Harry won't be turning be down
the next role I offer him... (He is) like Errol Flynn - he's got
that swashbuckling charm."
