Lady Gaga's rep: 'Dr. Luke is not Poker Face star's rapist'

A representative for Lady Gaga has dismissed speculation suggesting she was talking about Dr. Luke when she revealed a producer raped her when she was an up-and-coming artist.

The Poker Face singer stunned fans when she dropped hints and insinuation about a sexual assault incident during an interview with shock jock Howard Stern on Tuesday (02Dec14).

She stopped short of detailing the attack or naming names but led Stern and listeners to believe she was a rape victim of a producer she once worked with.

Her remarks led pop star Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, to suggest the unnamed rapist was Dr. Luke - the same producer his client is currently suing for alleged sexual assault.

Geragos tweeted, "Guess who the rapist was?" and when a follower responded and asked if it was Dr. Luke, the lawyer replied, "#bingo".

But Gaga's representative has told TMZ.com that he's mistaken, stating, "It's absolutely not true."

And Luke's rep tells the website, "Mark Geragos' statement is completely false and defamatory. Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported."

Geragos is standing by his tweet and insists he will depose Lady Gaga in Kesha's sexual assault lawsuit against Dr. Luke. He also claims three other unnamed women will be deposed as well.
