Lady Gaga meets Prince Harry
Pop star Lady Gaga met official royalty on Monday (08Jun15) as she and tourmate Tony Bennett were greeted by Prince Harry at a benefit concert in London.
Gaga and Bennett brought their Cheek to Cheek tour to England and played the iconic Royal Albert Hall as part of a fundraising gala for the British royal's children's charity, WellChild.
Gaga donned a silver sequined dress with matching sparkly eyebrows
for the event, and posed for photos standing between Prince Harry
and Bennett.
As Prince Harry thanked the duo for participating in the concert,
Gaga told him, "We think you are fantastic."
The royal then lauded Bennett, 88, for his enduring stamina on the
tour, saying, "I can't believe you have the energy, I don't know
how you do it", to which Gaga replied, "He runs circles around me.
Wait until we get on stage."
The veteran crooner also took the time to pay tribute to Harry's
late mother Princess Diana, telling him, "Your mum was a good
friend of mine... I did many benefits with her."
During the concert, Harry hosted a small number of families who
benefit from WellChild in the royal box, as Gaga and Bennett
covered the standards from their Grammy-winning album.
