Lady Gaga gives father control of mansion

Lady Gaga has handed control of her $24 million mansion in Malibu, California to her father, Joseph.

The Poker Face hitmaker has given Joseph Germanotta full power of attorney over her six-acre estate, her first property purchase, allowing him to lease it, take out loans against it or put it up for sale, as long as it is beneficial to the star, according to TMZ.com.

Gaga shares a close relationship with her father, who owns an Italian restaurant in New York City, and she recently told DJ Howard Stern she trusts him more than anyone else and regularly seeks out financial advice from her dad.
