Lady Gaga defies record label with 'weird' outfits
Lady Gaga refused to "tone down" her wacky outfits after her record label bosses begged her to "be a bit less weird".
The pop superstar has become as well known for her quirky style sense as her music since she shot to fame, and she has appeared in public in numerous bizarre creations, including an outfit made from raw meat at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lady Gaga admits executives at her record label often ask her to be
less outrageous, but she is determined to stick with her fashion
decisions, no matter how wacky they are.
She says, "Every now and again my record label asks me to tone it
down and be a bit less weird. It's usually after I"ve worn a meat
dress or something. The thing is I always get the best reaction
when I just do it the way I want to."
