Lady Gaga criticised by Thai official
Lady Gaga has been slammed by an official at Thailand's Culture Ministry for parading with the country's flag during a concert in Bangkok last month (May12).
The Poker Face hitmaker is accused of disrespecting the nation by tying the ensign to a motorbike and riding the vehicle across the stage while wearing a provocative outfit.
An unnamed official tells the Associated Press Gaga's behaviour was
"not appropriate and hurt the feelings of the Thai people".
It's not the first time Gaga has fallen foul of Thai locals - soon
after her arrival in the country last month she upset thousands of
fans by tweeting about buying a fake watch in one of the country's
street markets.
Gaga's Asian tour has been marred with controversy, and a concert
in Indonesia was axed following complaints it breached obscenity
laws.
