Kylie Jenner shoots down Tyga engagement rumor

Kylie Jenner has denied rumors she is engaged to her boyfriend Tyga after posting a photograph on social media of a huge diamond ring on her hand.

The youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner brood shared an image of a huge sparkler on her hand in a post on Instagram.com on Friday (25Dec15), with just a Santa Clause emoji as the caption, leaving fans to wonder if the 18-year-old was set to wed.

However, she later clarified her cryptic post, claiming the ring is a lavish Christmas present given to her at her mother Kris Jenner's Christmas Eve party on Thursday (24Dec15).

"Every year my Mom throws a huge Christmas Eve party and this year's was so fun (and sparkly)!" she wrote on her app. "It was really special to end such a big year celebrating with all of my friends and family... and with an extra special gift from a special someone."

Kylie also ended the engagement rumors with a simple, "NO, I'm not engaged :)"

Tyga, real name Michael Ray Stevenson, began dating the reality star in 2014, but the couple went public with the relationship after Kylie turned 18 in 2015.
