Kylie Jenner's sinful new nail collaboration
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner is expanding her beauty credentials by launching her own range of nail polish.
Kim Kardashian's youngest sister has already experienced sell-out success with her Kylie Lip Kit lipsticks, and now she has teamed up with cosmetics brand SinfulColors for three nail varnish collections.
The first line of 20 colors, named King Kylie SinfulShine, will go
on sale on 26 February (16), followed by new shades in April and
May (16).
The debut collection features jewel tones with names like Real
Regal, Miss Majesty, Kreme de la Kreme, Kommando, and Koko-Nuts, a
nod to her sister Khloe Kardashian's family nickname, and the
18-year-old admits moving into the nail industry was a natural
progression for her.
"I love getting my nails done and nails in general," Kylie told
Women's Wear Daily. "I wanted to do something innovative and
accessible to my young fans."
"The colors are great for all skin tones," she explained.
Kylie's new business venture makes her the first celebrity to work
with SinfulColors bosses and they couldn't be happier with the
collaboration.
"We didn't want to just put a face on the product," said Blake
Decker, the brand's head of marketing. "We desired someone with the
insight into the category... We decided to dream high; dream
big."
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will also help to promote
the products by posting nail tutorials for fans via her app.
Kylie follows in the footsteps of her older sisters Kim, Khloe, and
Kourtney, who have previously released their own shades of nail
varnish with rival brand Nicole by OPI.
