Kylie Jenner: 'I don't want to be famous forever'
Kylie Jenner wants to "stop being famous" at some point in the future.
The 18-year-old reality star has been in the spotlight since her family's show Keeping Up With the Kardashians debuted when she was just 10 years old.
And while she has turned the attention into a multi-million dollar
brand, Kylie admits she is hoping that her time as a celebrity will
come to an end when she's older.
"I know I don't want to be famous forever," Kylie told Allure
magazine. "There's gonna be a time where I feel comfortable, I'm at
a good place in my life, and I just stop."
Despite her comments, including, "I can't remember what it's like
not to be famous", Kylie admits that her unusual position has given
her a different kind of appreciation for what's special in her
life.
"I'm a special case," she added. "I'm able to appreciate what true
happiness is all about. A new car, that's not real happiness. That
lasts a month. That's short-term happiness."
Kylie is no stranger to splashing out on a new vehicle, and is
regularly seen out and about in shiny motors. But when it comes to
what constitutes true happiness, Kylie is all about "being with
your friends" and having time with her family.
She also has the added benefit of having a family who have all
experienced the same rise to fame that she has.
"Honestly, if I didn't have my family in my life, and I was going
through all of this myself, I don't know what I would do," she
admitted.
While Kylie is an avid social media user, including posting videos
on Snapchat, she adds that the image she portrays on these mediums
is a limited one.
"On Snapchat I show people what I think they want to see," she
explained. "That's not me. It's a projected image. A brand. I'm not
a different person. I just don't show all of me."
