Kristen McMenamy divorcing photographer husband

Former supermodel Kristen Mcmenamy is divorcing photographer Miles Aldridge after 17 years of marriage.

The catwalk star, 46, was granted a decree nisi, the first legal step towards dissolving the union, at London's High Court earlier this month (Apr13) on the grounds of adultery on Aldridge's part, according to Britain's Daily Mail.

The divorce will be finalized later this year (13).

McMenamy tells the publication, "Obviously it's a relief to get the nisi but it won't be over properly until the summer. We have as good a relationship as you can expect after everything that's happened."

The pair wed in 1997 in a glamorous London ceremony, with Chanel boss Karl Lagerfeld walking McMenamy down the aisle and Naomi Campbell acting as a bridesmaid. They have two children together, while McMenamy has another daughter from a previous relationship and Aldridge has a son with another mother.

Aldridge's half-sister, Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge, is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill.
