Kourtney Kardashian opens up about split from Scott Disick
Kourtney Kardashian split from Scott Disick after deciding she had to put her children first.
The 36-year-old reality TV star and her long-term partner parted ways in the summer (15) after nine years together.
They share kids Mason, five, three-year-old Penelope and Reign, 11
months, and in the latest episode of her family's reality TV show
Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney explained the youngsters
were the driving force behind the break-up.
"I don't care about anybody," she was seen telling her family. "I
just want to care for my kids."
The scenes were shot in July (15), around the time the couple
called it quits, and during that period, Scott was seen out
partying with a variety of women, rumoured to be one of the reasons
why Kourtney called time on the relationship.
"I have asked Scott to move out of the house," she told her family.
"As much as we've tried so many different things, it's just, this
is the last resort. It's really not helping anybody to keep living
this way, and I feel like this is what we need to try to hopefully
better both of our lives."
Although she was visibly upset while discussing the end of her
relationship, Kourtney assured her family that she and Scott were
doing all they could to maintain normalcy for their children.
This meant Scott was continuing to spend a lot of time with the
little ones, including looking after them while Kourtney and her
siblings, including Kim and Khloe Kardashian, supported Caitlyn
Jenner at the ESPY Awards in July (15).
The pair is still apart but there is a glimmer of hope on the
horizon. Shortly after Khloe's estranged husband Lamar Odom was
hospitalised following a suspected drugs overdose in a Las Vegas
brothel in October (15), Scott checked into rehab, apparently to
get help with an alcohol problem.
Kourtney and the children visited him there and the former couple
is thought to have attended a joint counselling session before he
left rehab last week (ends15Nov15).
