Kirsten Dunst's restraining order extended

Kirsten Dunst has won an extension of a restraining order to keep a French fan away from her until the new year (12).

The Spider-Man star was granted a court order against Jean Christophe Prudhon, 51, this month (Dec11) amid allegations he sent her more than 50 love letters and flew to the States in a bid to meet her, even confronting the actress' mother on the doorstep of her home.

The temporary restraining order was due to expire on Wednesday (21Dec11), but Los Angeles Judge Carol Boas Goodson has now extended it until January (12).

Prudhon must stay at least 100 yards (91 metres) away from Dunst and stop trying to contact her.

The case will go back to court on 9 January (12) and the star's lawyers will argue in favour of having the restraining order put in place for three years, according to E! Online.
