Actress Kirsten Dunst is heading to the small screen for the upcoming season of TV drama Fargo.
The Spider-Man star has landed a leading role in the Emmy-winning crime thriller, which is an adaptation of the hit 1996 Coen Brothers film of the same name.
Dunst is set to play a "small town beautician with big city
dreams", while former Breaking Bad star Jesse Plemons has been cast
as her supportive husband.
The series will mark Dunst's first stint as a series regular on a
TV drama - she previously appeared on medical drama ER in 1996.
Season two of Fargo will premiere next autumn (15).
The acclaimed first season featured Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks
and Martin Freeman.
