Kim Kardashian treated to baby shower

Kim Kardashian celebrated the impending arrival of her daughter with a star-studded baby shower in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (02Jun13).

Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Richie, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, Maria Menounos and Kimberly Stewart were among the guests who shared the special day with Kim, her rapper boyfriend Kanye West and his family, as well as the Kardashian clan.

Kim's mother Kris Jenner tells EOnline.com, "I am so excited and thrilled and feel so blessed to share this really special day with Kim and Kanye and our families! She will remember this day for the rest of her life!"

Kim later tweeted, "WOW an amazing baby shower! So much luv there (sic)... Thank u (sic). Truly such a special day. I honestly feel so blessed and filled with so much love!"

Guests were given headbands made of gypsophila flowers, also known as baby's breath, to wear, and they dined on a pancakes and waffles brunch before playing games, including guessing the baby's name.

There were several not-so-subtle nods to the baby's gender at the bash - the dessert station offered pink cotton candy, pink lollipops and strawberry shortcake.

Kim revealed she is expecting a girl during the season premiere of the eighth season of her reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which aired just hours after the shower.
