Kim Kardashian's mom undergoes minor hand surgery

Kim Kardashian's manager mother Kris Jenner is recovering after undergoing minor surgery on her right hand.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star put her heavily bandaged middle finger and palm on display in a snap on Instagram Thursday (25Feb16), showing off her recuperating wounds while sharing an image of pregnant model-turned-cook Chrissy Teigen's new recipe book.

"I've waited with excitement for this fabulous cookbook to come out @chrissyteigen," Kris wrote in the picture caption. "OF COURSE the day I get mine is the same day I have hand surgery so I can't cook!!!!"

"I can't wait to read this yummy book and learn some new recipes!!!", the Kardashian family matriarch added.

Fans were quick to express concern for Kris and her hand injury, but the 60-year-old's representative has since played down the issue.

Her spokesperson tells GossipCop.com the pre-planned operation was to treat a "cyst with other issues". No further information about the surgery has been revealed, although Kris is expected to make a full recovery.

Despite her handicap, Kris hasn't stopped posting on social media and gushing about her model daughter Kendal Jenner's latest fashion achievements.

"Kenny!!!!! You opened the Fendi show!!!" exclaimed the proud mum, who reposted images of the 20-year-old on the runway at Italy's Milan Fashion Week on Thursday.
