Kim Kardashian's debut make-up line has sold out within minutes of going live.

The reality TV star went into partnership with cosmetics manufacturer Seed Beauty for her KKW Beauty collection, which currently comprises a cream contour kit and highlighters.

And it seems that fashionistas around the globe are keen to emulate Kim's signature beauty look, which features glowing skin, full lashes and contoured cheekbones, as the first batch of products sold out within minutes of going live on her website on Wednesday morning (21Jun17).

Soon after her contour kits went on sale, the 36-year-old took to Twitter to announce that the medium and light shades of the product were already sold out. Within an hour, the dark and deep dark versions had been snapped up too, with industry experts estimating that approximately 300,000 kits had been sold.

The kits, which come with a dual-ended contour stick, highlighter and blending brush and sponge, are priced at $45 , meaning that sales likely equated to $13.5 million .

In the lead-up to the launch, Kim had shared that she was anticipating high demand for the products, as the Kylie Cosmetics lipstick collection she created with her younger half-sister Kylie Jenner back in April drew in huge interest.

"We have a good model, and even from our lip kit, we have a really good general idea of what our customer is going to be like. We are definitely prepared for the demand," she told WWD earlier this week. "I know they (Seed Beauty) do make a mass volume. It's not like we're making a small quantity and it's selling out."

Meanwhile, in her social media posts, Kim not only shared her excitement about the launch, but also gave fans some tips on how to get her famous beauty look.

"I use the medium and dark kits," the brunette beauty wrote on her Twitter page. "The dark kit is great for medium skintones when you want a darker contour, and you can mix and match shades."
