Kim Kardashian is living her life "on edge" after being targeted in a horrific armed robbery ordeal last year (16).

The 36-year-old's attempts to get her life back on track following the incident in Paris in October have been documented on her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

A promo for the upcoming episode, airing on Sunday night, shows Kim's reaction to the French police making arrests in connection to the robbery, and her admission that despite authorities finding the culprits, she still doesn't feel entirely safe.

"It definitely opened up my eyes to a whole different world that I can’t erase - I can’t go backwards," she said. "Life is always going to be different. Now I just have to be super aware of everything that I do and who I share it with.

"Knowing that it’s a possibility that people close to me were involved makes me feel I can’t trust anyone. And that really sucks. It just opened up my eyes that this happens and that there’s really bad people in this world... I can still live my life, but just on edge."

Police arrested 17 people in connection with the robbery, and revealed to the reality star that the robbers had been watching Kim and her hotel for days prior to making their move.

And talking to sister Kourtney about the arrests, Kim exclaimed: "Can you believe that they found them? I honestly never thought that they would catch the robbers. I just thought so much time has gone on and I didn’t really realize how diligent the French police were being and just all the hard work they were really putting into it.

"To find out that there were so many people involved, hearing detail after detail, really just opened up a whole different perspective for me of feeling safe."

Sunday's episode will also see Kim confront a woman that her sister Kourtney's on-off boyfriend Scott Disick has been hiding in his hotel room during a trip to Dubai.

While Kim has hit headlines for her reaction to the anonymous woman, who she called a "w**re", but Kourtney came out in defense of her sibling, writing on Twitter: "“I didn’t ask anyone to get mad but that’s her natural reaction and it woulda been mine too… #sistersgotmyback."
