Kim Kardashian is 'beyond excited' about pregnancy news

Kim Kardashian is "beyond excited" to become a mother for a second time after discovering she is expecting another baby with her husband Kanye West.

The news was revealed on Sunday night (31May15) during a preview for upcoming episodes of her reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and editors at Glamour magazine have now released a new interview with the reality star in which she discusses the big news.

She confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine two weeks after sitting for a chat with the publication, saying, "We are so beyond excited (about the baby)."

Kardashian also discussed the couple's fertility troubles in the interview, revealing she decided to tell her story in her TV show to raise awareness for other couples going through the same problems, adding, "I didn't know that I was going to be so open with (my fertility challenges). But meeting people at my fertility doctor's office who are going through the same things I'm going through, I thought, Why not share my story?

"It's been really emotional. One doctor told me I would need my uterus removed after I had another baby - I could only have one more. One was like, 'You should get a surrogate.' The other one was like, 'Oh, no, you'll be fine.' Then I called my doctor, and he's like, 'You know what? I believe we'll get through it.' There are definitely times when I walked out (of the doctor's office) hysterically crying, and other times when I was like, 'OK, everything's looking good, it's going to be this month!' The waiting and waiting has been a roller coaster."

Kardashian and West have a daughter, North West, who turns two on 15 June (15). Reports suggest the couple's second child is due close to Christmas (25Dec15).
