Kim Kardashian and Kanye West refusing baby gifts

Kim Kardashian and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West are refusing baby gifts from loved ones and asking for charity donations instead.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians beauty is expecting her first child with the hip-hop star this summer (13), but they have told family and friends they are not interested in presents.

Instead, the stars want well-wishers to hand cash to the Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, the city where West grew up.

According to TMZ.com, Kardashian and West have also distanced themselves from fake gift registries set up online by pranksters.

Kardashian was previously embroiled in a bitter dispute with her former partner Kris Humphries over their wedding presents.

The basketball player was furious over Kardashian's decision to keep the gifts after their split and donate their value to charity instead.

The former couple parted ways in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage, and they recently reached a divorce settlement.
