Khloe Kardashian sparks romance rumours with basketball player toyboy

Khloe Kardashian has sparked rumours she is dating basketball player Tristan Thompson after the pair was spotted celebrating the Labor Day weekend (03-05Sep16) in Mexico.

The pair sparked speculation when they were seen jetting off to Cabo San Lucas on Thursday (01Sep16) to enjoy a relaxing vacation for the Labor Day holiday weekend. Pictures over the weekend showed Khloe and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan, 25, soaking up the sun together and taking a jet ski ride.

While Khloe has yet to comment on the allegations, sources close to the 32-year-old reality star tell People.com that she and Tristan are a "mini-thing."

"They like each other and are hanging out," the insider added.

Khloe, whose Instagram profile has the tagline "I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous", has reportedly been single since splitting from another basketball player, James Harden, in February (16).

During an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine in June (16), Khloe said she gets why famous people choose to date others in the public eye.

"I used to wonder why celebrities only dated celebrities, but when you're in it you understand. You feel a little safer," she explained. "If you're seen with someone on your first date, you're automatically getting married the next day. It's so extreme! So when you're two celebrities, you can keep it really quiet at first, to see if you even like each other. Dating someone in your world is a little easier."

Khloe was also married to another former basketball player, ex Los Angeles Lakers sportsman Lamar Odom. The couple split in 2013 but put their divorce on hold when Lamar was hospitalised after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last October (15).

Khloe has since re-filed the legal paperwork, but her divorce from Lamar hasn't been finalised yet.
