Khloe Kardashian's talk show picked up for 15 more episodes
Khloe Kardashian's new career as a talk show host has been given a huge boost after bosses at the FYI network ordered another 15 episodes of the series.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star launched Kocktails with Khloe on 20 January (16), and the premiere episode became the fledgling channel's highest-rated show ever.
The series' popularity has also given FYI's profile a huge boost on
social media, and now Khloe, who recently welcomed interviewees
like Snoop Dogg, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and her sisters Kourtney
Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, is set to continue drinking and
gossiping with guests until June (16).
"Khloe and her iconic brand have struck a chord with FYI viewers,
who have been extremely interactive with the show on social media,"
FYI executive Gena McCarthy says in a statement. "Her ability to
draw upscale millennial viewers across all our platforms in record
numbers is a game changer for FYI."
The show is set up in the style of a dinner party, with guests
invited to join Khloe in the kitchen, dining room, and lounge,
where they can sip on speciality cocktails and snack on food served
up by chef Sharone Hakman.
Khloe has also recruited her famous family members and friends to
participate in a series of games for the show, and she previously
admitted she wanted the alcohol to help loosen their tongues.
"A lot of the games are interactive and you have to move," she
explained. "Some are standard, like Truth or Dare. Others are games
my sisters and I tweaked at my cocktail parties at home. A lot are
personal. (Questions) tend to be a little more sexual, fun and
flirty. When someone has a glass of champagne, their guard is a
little down. It makes it more fun."
