Kevin Federline leaves hospital after heart scare
Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline has been discharged from hospital after he sought medical treatment for chest pains while shooting a fitness TV show in Australia.
The former dancer, father of the Toxic hitmaker's two sons, is currently trying to lose weight on fitness reality series Excess Baggage and he was hospitalized after completing a training session with an Australian Football League (AFL) team in Sydney on Monday (23Jan12).
Medics initially feared Federline had suffered a heart attack, but
doctors at the Mount Druitt Hospital later found this wasn't the
case and kept him in for further tests.
Federline was allowed to leave the medical facility late on Monday
night (23Jan12), but will see a cardiologist before he returns to
the TV set on Friday (27Jan12).
A statement from the Fremantle Media production company reads,
"Kevin Federline has been given the all-clear after spending the
day in medical care... After more tests, he was released late last
night. Kevin is now at home with his family and will undergo
further investigation with a cardiologist today. He is expected to
be back on set Friday."
The 33 year old has previously been treated for heat exhaustion on
the series.
