Kesha to headline Dylan Fest
Kesha is planning to perform a Bob Dylan tribute to mark his 75th birthday.
Just hours after it emerged the Tik Tok singer may be making a surprise appearance at this weekend's Coachella festival in California, her name has been added to the Dylan Fest celebration of the folk-rock legend's birthday in May (23-24May16).
She'll join the likes of Emmylou Harris and Kacey Musgraves at the
country-heavy Ryman Auditorium bash in Nashville, Tennessee.
Over 30 acts will perform Dylan tributes.
Pop star Kesha lived in Nashville as a child and performed Dylan's
Don't Think Twice It's All Right on tour in 2011.
If the hush-hush Coachella gig doesn't happen, this will be Kesha's
first public performance since a judge dismissed her contract case
against Sony Music last week (ends08Apr16). The pop star sued to
free herself from the agreement she claimed binds her to producer
Dr. Luke.
Kesha alleges the music mogul physically and emotionally abused
her, accusations the producer has strenuously denied.
