Kendall Jenner jumps at the chance to be sexual on photoshoots
Kendall Jenner loves it when photographers and stylists make her look sexy on a shoot.
The model has posed for a diverse range of brands over her career, from Victoria’s Secret to Vogue magazine. And while she always stuns in her pictures, Kendall likes it best when she gets to unleash her sexy side.
“I don’t get to be hot very often,” Kendall explained to Mario Testino on his podcast. “I love going, like, sexual, because I never really do it.”
The model and famed photographer have worked together on numerous occasions, and sat looking through photos of Kendall as they chatted.
“It’s so weird because you have the body,” Mario remarked. “I think that maybe people are intimidated to take you there. Maybe you’ve done a lot of American Vogue, and it’s not about that and it’s more about clothes.”
Kendall added that she also likes to be “transformed” when she’s hired as a model, and relishes morphing into a different character during hair and make-up. However she often ends up still looking like herself.
“Everyone always wants to make me myself,” she said. “Because not only am I a model but I guess (I) have a name too, so people try — they get confused, they don’t know how to use me.”
Kendall recently showed off her high fashion credentials on the cover of Vogue India, which was shot by Mario, who was also the creative director and guest editor for the issue. The cover image featured the model looking very much like herself in a black lace garment, with her dark hair swept up.
The photo caused an instant backlash though, with critics upset a non-Indian model was used as the cover star for the fashion glossy.
Editors at the publication have now addressed the controversy, after fans took to social media to complain.
“Let's talk about our May 2017 cover with @KendallJenner,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “Following all the talk about our cover, we felt that a few clarifications were in order.
“We have lined-up a series of special issues for this entire year to celebrate our 10th anniversary, starting with the May 2017 Collector's Edition, which is not the anniversary issue. The actual 10th anniversary is October 2017."
