Country singer Kelsea Ballerini is returning to Tennessee later this month (Oct17) to perform a concert at her old high school.

The Yeah Boy hitmaker is teaming up with officials at The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development to perform a free show at Central High School in Knoxville on 28 October (17).

The concert is part of Tennessee Tourism's Snapchat Concert Series and The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee campaign, according to People magazine.

"How cool to be able to come home to Knoxville and celebrate this next big moment in my life with you! Central High is such a special place for me," Kelsea shares in a statement. "I was in the glee club and got to perform in musicals on the same stage where I sang a song I wrote for the very first time. This city... this high school... really helped shape my life and I can't wait to share my new songs (from my upcoming album Unapologetically) with you."
