Kelly Clarkson planning baby number two

Singer Kelly Clarkson hopes to be pregnant with her second child by the end of this year (15).

The Breakaway hitmaker and her husband Brandon Blackstock will celebrate their daughter River's first birthday this month (Jun15) and they are already planning their second child together.

Clarkson wants her offspring to be close in age, like Blackstock's two kids from a previous marriage, and she plans on being "pretty pregnant soon after" finishing her tour in November (15).

Speaking at Capital FM's Summertime Ball in London, Clarkson says, "After tour I want to start on the next one. It's hard being a woman and wanting kids and fitting in your career and I want them to be close together because the other two are kind of close together, my stepkids. So I want to tour, I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't done it since 2013 so I'm really looking forward to putting on an amazing show but I'm looking forward to the tail end, going back into it (pregnancy)."

Clarkson and Blackstock have been married since 2013.
