Keith Urban crashes Nicole Kidman's TV interview

Keith Urban made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Fallon's show to help his wife Nicole Kidman through an awkward interview.

The Australian actress told Jimmy that she used to have a crush on him on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January (16), when she revealed she went over to his apartment with a friend when she was newly single after her split from Tom Cruise but Jimmy seemed uninterested.

She returned to the show on Thursday night (17Nov16) when she trying to promote her film Lion but the majority of the interview ended up being about their previous revelation and it turned into a sketch as Jimmy kept staring at the actress like he was in love as Gary Wright's Dream Weaver played in the background.

Nicole then revealed that he had a second chance to ask for her number years ago when they were both in the kitchen at director David Fincher's dinner party telling a clueless Jimmy "but you still didn't ask for my number so you are so not interested... (It's) even more offensive that you don't remember."

Once Jimmy regained his composure, he asked about her husband Keith Urban and Nicole said, "He decided that he wanted to come on and take care of me while I was on the show," as Keith bursts through the curtain and sings Dream Weaver while playing his acoustic guitar.

He kisses Nicole and she sits on his lap for the rest of the interview and Jimmy can't stop laughing as he says, "I get it, I get it... how did you pull this off?" and the Moulin Rouge! star replied, "I snuck him in."

Jimmy then asks if he can ever visit them at their home in Nashville, Tennessee and Keith jokes, "I feel quite safe because you have no problem ignoring my wife in the kitchen apparently."
