Katy Perry selling marital property

Katy Perry is moving on from her failed marriage by placing the Los Angeles home she bought with Russell Brand on the market.

The California Gurls singer has put a $6.9 million price tag on the gated estate the couple purchased in the Hollywood Hills, near the fabled Chateau Marmont hotel.

The stars are said to have purchased the two-storey property for $6.5 million in June 2011 with plans to renovate it, but Russell Brand ended up filing for divorce six months later, citing "irreconcilable differences".

According to real estate website Zillow.com, the 1920s mansion features seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, a pool with a waterfall, a garden, a carriage house, and two guest suites.

Katy Perry's divorce was finalized in July 2012, and she is now single again after her recent split from singer John Mayer.
