Katy Perry & Lady Gaga songs banned in China
Written by . Published: August 26 2011
Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are among the artists who find themselves on a new 'banned' list in China.
The pop superstars have fallen foul of China's Ministry of Culture officials, who have branded their songs vulgar.
Songs like Katy Perry's Last Friday Night and Gaga's The Edge of Glory, Judas and Hair are among the tracks the Ministry is keen to keep away from Chinese youngsters' ears.
Their hitlist also features the Backstreet Boys' I Want it that Way.
Chinese website bosses have been told they must remove the songs by 15 September (11).
