Katy Perry in early days of romance with Giabiconi

Katy Perry is taking her relationship with Baptiste Giabiconi slow and "spending a lot of time" with him, according to the French model's representative.

The couple first sparked rumours of a romance earlier this month (Mar12) when they were spotted looking close on a night out in Paris.

Perry - who split from her British husband Russell Brand late last year (11) - was snapped with the Chanel model on the Eurostar train from London to Paris this week (begs19Mar12), and now Giabiconi's spokesperson has seemingly confirmed the relationship.

The rep tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "It's new, they're feeling it out, but they're spending a lot of time together."

The publicist also reveals the model is planning to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his own music career, adding, "He's considering moving to L.A., at least for some time. He's really focusing on his music career from France, but he's always traveling for his modeling career."
