Katy Perry and Jennifer Hudson sing for Obama
Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder and Bon Jovi hit the stage to perform for President Barack Obama in Los Angeles on Sunday night (07Oct12).
Earth, Wind & Fire also played at the 30 Days to Victory concert at the Nokia Theater to pull in last-minute donations for Obama's campaign, ahead of the elections next month (Nov12).
Obama was the guest of honor at the sold-out event, where actor
George Clooney also made a special appearance to introduce
Wonder.
Perry took to Twitter.com to show off her patriotic manicure,
featuring the President's face, writing, "Appropriate nails...
Today I am so honored to play for the President!"
After the show, Obama headed next door to Wolfgang Puck's chic WP24
for an exclusive dinner where VIP guests paid $25,000 per
plate.
It is estimated the two events pulled in as much as $5 million for
Obama.
