Katherine Jenkins wants charity donation for missing luggage
Katherine Jenkins is demanding a charity donation from airline bosses after the classical singer's baggage went missing on a recent flight.
The Welsh star took to her Twitter.com page on Sunday (17Mar13) to vent her frustration after her luggage vanished following a trip onboard a Lufthansa German Airlines plane.
She tweeted, "Thank you Lufthansa for sabotaging my intended
18-mile marathon training run 2day (today) by losing my luggage.
Hope you'll be sponsoring me now!"
Jenkins then posted a link to the fundraising page she has set up
ahead of her London Marathon challenge in April (13), when she will
be running with her cousin Hannah in aid of Macmillan Cancer
Support.
Nurses from the charity looked after Jenkins' father Selwyn after
he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He lost his battle with the
disease in 1996, when the singer was aged 15.
