Katharine McPhee dating Michael Morris after secret marriage split

Katharine Mcphee has quietly split from her husband Nick Cokas and is reportedly romancing her Smash director Michael Morris.

The 29 year old raised questions about her five-year marriage to actor/producer Cokas on Tuesday (22Oct13) when photos of her kissing married Morris in Los Angeles emerged on TMZ.com, and now editors at Life & Style magazine reveal McPhee secretly parted ways with her spouse back in April (13).

A source tells the publication, "They've been separated for six months."

Cokas has continued to work with McPhee on her music career, but it's clear from the pictures that she has already moved on in her personal life.

Meanwhile, Morris has yet to comment on the status of his 10-year marriage to actress Mary McCormack - the couple has three young daughters together.

McPhee and Morris met on the set of TV musical drama Smash, which was cancelled in May (13).
