Kate Winslet set for royal honour

Actress Kate Winslet is to be given a royal award in Queen Elizabeth II's upcoming Birthday Honours List, according to a report.
The Titanic star will be handed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) medal by the monarch when the annual list of recipients is announced later this month (Jun12), reports U.K. newspaper The Sun.
A source tells the publication, "Kate... (has) made a significant
contribution to modern Britain. The Queen is pleased to be able to
reward (her) in her Jubilee year."
On Saturday (09Jun12) it was revealed Take That star Gary Barlow
will be given an Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal for his
efforts organising the star-studded Diamond Jubilee Concert in
London last Monday (04Jun12).
