Kate Upton splits from Maksim Chmerkovskiy - report

Model/actress Kate Upton is single for the holidays after reportedly calling time on her six-month romance with professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The Sports Illustrated beauty was first linked to Chmerkovskiy in June (13), but the reality TV star didn't confirm the relationship until October (13), when he admitted that their friendship had turned romantic.

However, according to editors at UsMagazine.com, the spark has since fizzled out and they recently parted ways.

A source says, "They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart.

"(Chmerkovskiy) has a lot of respect for her, but it just wasn't working anymore."
