Kate McKinnon won't watch herself in new Ghostbusters

Kate Mckinnon won't watch herself in the Ghostbusters reboot as she hates seeing herself on screen.

The Saturday Night Live comedian and actress, who stars alongside Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones in the Paul Feig-directed film, also told Entertainment Tonight that no footage of the film has been made available yet.

"I've seen truly zero (of the movie), there is not any stuff available yet, but if there were, I wouldn't want to watch it, because I don't like to watch myself," she explained.

However, Kate revealed she's more than confident that the all-female remake of the iconic 1984 comedy, which originally starred Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, will be a huge success.

"I've heard that it's great so I'll just go with that," she smiled. "I know it's going to be a great movie."

The film, due to be released in July, also stars Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia and Elizabeth Perkins.
