Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas enjoy ski trip together

Actress Kate Hudson and singer Nick Jonas are continuing to fuel speculation they are quietly dating after enjoying a day on the slopes in California.

The Fool's Gold beauty was first linked to 23-year-old Nick in late September (15), after they were spotted together in Florida. Kate, 36, was then seen attending Nick's New York City concert days later, and sources claimed the unlikely couple was "hooking up".

Nick dismissed the romance rumors in October (15), when he declared he was "single", but it appears they are still hanging out together after TMZ.com obtained photos of the pair at a Starbucks coffee shop at Mammoth Mountain ski resort on Monday (04Jan16). They have yet to comment on the latest speculation.

Nick split from beauty queen Olivia Culpo in June (15), while Kate was previously linked to dancer Derek Hough after ending her engagement to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, the father of her son Bingham, in December, 2014.

The actress, who is also mom to 11-year-old son Ryder from her marriage to rocker Chris Robinson, recently insisted she was happy living her life as a single mom.

"I really do feel very lucky," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I've had my kids and my relationships. I've set my life down - I'm in my house, and I'm alone with my children - and I'm at peace, and that's a really nice feeling. All I really want in my life is to maintain that.

"It's nice to get acquainted with myself alone, you know, the goal when you get into a relationship is not to be out of the relationship. It's to try to stay in the relationship. But if it doesn't work, you can't force those things."
