Kate Hudson teamed up with her family and British supermodel Cara Delevingne to show off their fancy footwork for a social media competition launched by dancing siblings Derek and Julianne Hough.
The Dancing With The Stars professionals filmed themselves pulling some moves and posted the videos to Instagram.com on Thursday (27Nov14), the day of the Thanksgiving holiday, encouraging others to upload their own dance routines with the hashtag '#Thanksgivingdancewars'.
Julianne Hough nominated the Almost Famous star to participate, so
the actress created her dance battle with the help of her mother's
longterm partner Kurt Russell, his two sons Boston and Wyatt, her
brother Oliver and catwalk beauty Delevingne.
In the footage, Goldie Hawn can be heard counting them in as the
four men sit on a couch tapping their feet to Mark Ronson's track
Uptown Funk. Hudson and Delevingne appear from behind a set of
curtains before bursting into random dance moves, which becoming
increasingly wild.
In the final clip, Russell gets off the couch, put down his glass
of wine and shows off his best clubbing moves.
Earlier that evening, Hudson paid tribute to her late grandmother,
writing on Instagram, "My beautiful and strong grandmother Laura
Hawn was born November 27, 1914 and passed away November 27, 1994.
