Kat Von D fan hit with three-year restraining order

Celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D can rest easy this Christmas after she was granted a permanent restraining order against an overzealous fan.

The TV star, who recently became engaged to dance DJ Deadmau5, sought legal action after a man named Michael Nunn began messaging her via Twitter.com and even posted her home phone number online.

He reportedly showed up at her Los Angeles home and called her phone in April (12), while he is also said to have followed Von D to a public event she attended in June (12).

A judge awarded her a temporary protection order earlier this month (Dec12) and now it's been made permanent, forbidding Nunn from going anywhere near the star for three years, reports TMZ.com

He has also been ordered to stop contacting her on the internet.
