Kanye West joins Diddy onstage in New York City
Kanye West surprised fans at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' homecoming concert in New York City on Sunday night (04Sep16) by joining the hip-hop mogul onstage.
Combs headlined the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour at Madison Square Garden with his past and present Bad Boy Records artists, including Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Mase, and 112, but he sent audience members into a frenzy when he introduced Kanye to the stage.
West performed Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1, from his latest
album, The Life of Pablo, and as he wrapped up his brief set, he
told his pal, "My idol, Puff Daddy (Diddy), I love you bro (sic),"

His comments echoed remarks Kanye had made on the same stage a week
before, when he appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards on 28 August
(16) and hailed Diddy as his "idol" there, too.
Diddy had previously treated fans to unexpected appearances from
Chance the Rapper and singer Jeremih as he kicked off his tour in
Chicago, Illinois last week (ends02Sep16), when DMX also led a
prayer for the stars backstage.
The Bad Boy Family Reunion trek had initially been due to launch in
Columbus, Ohio on 25 August (16), but the start of the trek had to
be delayed by a week to allow the 46-year-old I'll Be Missing You
star extra time to recover from rotator cuff surgery on his
shoulder.
Meanwhile, Sunday's performance served as a warm-up for Kanye, who
will return to the fabled Madison Square Garden venue on Monday
night (05Sep16) for the first of two shows on his Saint Pablo
Tour.
