Kanye West has no plans to launch cosmetics line

Kanye West has no plans to launch a cosmetics line in the near future.

Earlier this year (17), the hip-hop star reportedly filed legal documents declaring his intention to produce make-up, perfumes, lotions and cosmetics under the brand DONDA, the creative company he set up in 2012 in his late mother's name.

However, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian has now confirmed that he's currently not working on beauty items.

"I have no idea where that came from. That’s not true," the reality TV star told Elle.com when questioned on the rumor. "He’s always talked about doing stuff like that, but I don't think that anything is in the works."

Of late, Kanye has found success with his Yeezy streetwear clothing line created in collaboration with Adidas. Meanwhile, his extended family are making a splash in the beauty world, with Kim launching her KKW Beauty range this year and her half-sister Kylie Jenner dominating the lip gloss business with her colorful Lip Kits.
