Kanye West and Usher set for special awards at BET Honors

Kanye West and Usher are celebrating early this Christmas after landing special career awards for the 2015 BET Honors.
Stronger hitmaker West will receive the Visionary Award, while Usher will be presented with the Musical Arts Award.
They will be among five luminaries, including Theatrical Arts Award
recipient Phylicia Rashad, feted at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
on 24 January (15).
Previous stars saluted at the annual BET Honors event, which marks
the achievements of African-American stars, include Stevie Wonder,
Halle Berry, Chaka Khan, late poet Maya Angelou and tragic
superstar Whitney Houston.
