Kaley Cuoco covers up wedding date tattoo
Actress Kaley Cuoco is moving forward after her split from tennis player Ryan Sweeting by removing her wedding date tattoo.
The Big Bang Theory star filed for divorce from Sweeting in September (15), after less than two years of marriage.
Cuoco is staying strong and has opted to replace a tattoo symbol of
matrimony she now regrets with what appears to be a moth with its
wings outstretched.
"Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my
wrongs," she wrote on Instagram.com. "note to self - do not mark
your body with any future wedding dates."
But she urges fans not to read too much into her new skin art - as
it means nothing.
"the deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this
beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one," she
added.
Cuoco and Sweeting wed on New Year's Eve, 2013 after a whirlwind
courtship. Following her marriage split, the actress turned to
friends and fans to help her cope with the blues.
On 21 October (15), the newly-single star, 29, shared an
illustration of Winnie the Pooh and his pal Piglet, which featured
the words: "Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small
heart, it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude."
She captioned the post, "I'm feeling completely overwhelmed with
the outpouring of kindness and support from the people that
surround me and from those I have never even met.
"I want you to know, I read all your comments and your sweet words
have touched me deeply. I'm incredibly grateful for all your love
as I start this next chapter in my life."
