Kaley Cuoco 'couldn't be happier' with equestrian beau

Kaley Cuoco is convinced her relationship with professional equestrian Karl Cook was "meant to be".

The Big Bang Theory actress couldn’t stop blushing as she gushed over her new beau during an appearance on The Talk on Thursday (15Sep16).

Horse and animal advocate Kaley shared that she started dating professional equestrian Karl, after meeting him at an event in early March (16).

"I finally found my horse guy. It was very meant to be," she smiled. "He's an amazing, amazing rider and jumper, amazing equestrian and a great human. We share our passion for horses and dogs and all that and it's been lovely, so I'm so happy."

Kaley’s relationship with Karl is her first serious romance since splitting from professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting in September last year (15), after 21 months of marriage. Her divorce was finalized in May (16).

While going through her breakup, Kaley admitted she often felt like she wouldn’t be able to fall in love or get married ever again.

"I think even when I went through my big breakup – even my friends that know me so well – I might have said things like, 'I'm never going to love again. I'm never going to get married again.' You say these things. But the people that know you best, they know my heart and that's just not me," she shared on the show.

But with the encouragement of her friends and family, the 30-year-old star took the leap into the dating scene once again. And she’s pleased to share that it’s possible to find love again post-divorce.

"We all go through these things, but a lot of people don't see everyone's personal life played out...I'm just glad that I got through it," she said. "I couldn't be happier. It's like I saw the light somehow."
