Justin Timberlake joins SNL's Five-Timers Club
Justin Timberlake was inducted into Saturday Night Live's exclusive Five-Timers Club by Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin as he hosted the sketch show again at the weekend (09-10Mar13).
The pop star/actor joined the exclusive group of stars who have guest-presented the show five times when he fronted the program on Saturday night (09Mar13), and his fellow club members were on hand to welcome him into the fraternity.
Timberlake donned a monogrammed smoking jacket along with Hanks,
Baldwin and Martin, as well as Martin Short, Paul Simon and Chevy
Chase as he joined the club, while Father of the Bride star Martin
quipped, "I always figured if an 'NSync member would make the
Five-Timers Club, it would be Joey Fatone."
During the show, Timberlake took on the persona of Sir Elton John
to sing his hit Candle in the Wind in memory of late Venezuelan
president Hugo Chavez, and he reunited with his D**k in a Box
collaborator Andy Samberg for a new sketch.
Timberlake also performed his track Suit and Tie with rapper Jay-Z
during the program, and Martin, Chase and Short reprised their
roles as The Three Amigos to introduce his second song,
Mirrors.
