Justin Bieber topples himself on U.S. chart
Justin Bieber has replaced himself at the top of the pop charts as his Love Yourself topples Sorry on the Billboard Hot 100 countdown.
He becomes only the 12th act in Hot 100 history to unseat himself, but the third in 14 months, following fellow Canadian The Weeknd last year (15), and Taylor Swift in November, 2014.
Love Yourself becomes the mainstream chart's 1,050th number one,
and Justin's third chart-topper from his hit album Purpose.
Sorry drops to two and Twenty One Pilots' Stressed Out jumps up a
spot to three, ahead of Adele's Hello and My House by Flo Rida,
which becomes the Miami rapper's 11th top 10 hit.
And Rihanna storms into the top flight at nine with her new single
Work from her latest album Anti.
The track gives the R&B star her 50th Hot 100 hit and her 27th
top 10.
