Justin Bieber sued by photographer
Justin Bieber is facing legal action from a photographer who was allegedly embroiled in a scuffle with the singer's security guards in Miami, Florida last week (ends09Jun13).
Snapper Jeffrey Binion claims he was assaulted by Bieber's bodyguards as he attempted to photograph the star leaving a recording studio on Wednesday (05Jun13), and police are currently investigating a battery report.
Binion has now filed a lawsuit against Bieber and a member of his
security team, Hugo Hesny, claiming the superstar ordered the
alleged attack and the theft of his camera's memory card.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ.com, the photographer claims he was
pinned against a wall and grabbed by the throat, and sustained
bodily injury, mental anguish, pain and suffering, as well as
incurring medical expenses.
Binion's attorney, Russell S. Adler, says, "Justin Bieber is now an
adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot
use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's violent
behaviour toward photographers must end, and he should take
responsibility for his actions... To send him that message and
deter his misbehaviour in the future, we will seek punitive damages
against him as allowed by Florida law."
