Justin Bieber stumbles in jail video footage after DUI arrest
Video footage showing pop superstar Justin Bieber stumbling through his sobriety test following his January (14) arrest for DUI has been released by prosecutors.
Ten hours of surveillance film from the Miami, Florida jail where he was booked was made available to the press on Wednesday (26Feb14), and in one sequence, the Baby hitmaker appears struggling after a policeman asked him to walk in a straight line, while he was also filmed arguing with the cop.
Another clip depicts the singer being patted down by an
officer.
The 19 year old was taken into custody by Miami authorities after
he was reportedly caught drag racing with R&B singer Khalil
Sharief, who was also arrested.
Bieber, who failed his sobriety test, has pleaded not guilty to
charges of driving under the influence (DUI), resisting arrest
without violence and driving with an expired driver's license.
The star's lawyers had attempted to prevent all the CCTV footage
from Bieber's time behind bars being made public, but only sections
of the tapes showing the teen's private parts as he urinated in a
cup for a drug test were blocked from release, according to the New
York Daily News.
