Justin Bieber slips over mid-concert
Justin Bieber suffered a humiliating slip onstage during his concert in Missouri on Wednesday night (06Apr15).
The Baby singer uses a rain effect during a section of his gig, which leaves him and his dancers soaking wet and the surface of stage covered in water.
A fan's video footage from the show in Kansas City shows a
shirtless Justin running down a ramp to the front of the stage,
where there is a large puddle of water. As he hits the patch, his
arms flail around as he lands on his bottom in the water, as fans
can be heard screaming.
Ever the professional, Justin recovers within seconds and continues
performing his hit single Sorry.
This is not the first time Justin has suffered an onstage mishap.
He hurt his leg when it slipped through a set of onstage steps
while he was running up them in Belgium in 2013.
He was also caught on camera tripping over a suitcase while in the
audience at Jennifer Lopez's Las Vegas concert in January (16).
Justin did not reference the embarrassing incident when he went on
Instagram after the show, and posted an image showing him holding a
cigarette. The pop star, who is currently sporting dreadlocks, also
pulled down his baggy shorts to expose the top portion of his
underwear.
The singer recently defended his new hairstyle after he was accused
of cultural appropriation. In video footage taken backstage at the
iHeartRadio Awards in California on Sunday (03Apr16), he told
rapper Big Sean, "You wanna be black and all that stuff people say,
I'm like, 'It's just my hair'"
He came away from the awards show with three prizes for Male Artist
of the Year, Best Fan Army and Dance Song of the Year, for Where
Are U Now with Skrillex and Diplo.
