Justin Bieber reaches out to severely disabled fan

Written by . Published: June 06 2012

Justin Bieber has promised to make a disabled fan's dream come true by meeting her when he performs in Portland, Oregon in October (12).

Megan Ham, 11, from Vancouver, Canada suffers with the rare condition Lissencephaly, which has left her severely neurologically impaired.

The Baby hitmaker has already unwittingly helped Ham via his music as his tunes prompt her to smile and kick her feet along to the beat, a reaction doctors never thought possible.

And the star reached out to Ham via his Twitter.com page on Wednesday (06Jun12), writing, "MEGAN you stay strong for me and I'm gonna (sic) make sure we meet when i come to Portland. Love you and Thank You :)."

Ham's school teachers discovered her love for the pop singer's music by accident and speakers have now been attached to her wheelchair which allow her to listen to the songs at the push of a button.

Prior to Bieber's tweet, Megan's mother Roxanne told television station KPTV, "She just can't get enough of him... I just think meeting him would mean the world to her."
